  • Ideas/Suggestions: About the Project: The E-Vo application is a technology-driven platform aimed at ensuring transparency, inclusivity, and efficiency in national and local elections. It is designed with a focus on data security, voter identity verification, and ease of accessibility, aligned with the Election Commission’s mandate to conduct free, fair, and credible elections. Key Features of E-Vo: 1. Voter Verification: Integration with NID database and fingerprint/biometric authentication. 2. Data Security: End-to-end encryption and blockchain-inspired architecture to ensure vote integrity. 3. Transparency: Real-time, tamper-proof vote counting and reporting dashboard for Election Commission officials. 4. Accessibility: Mobile and web-based interfaces allowing citizens, especially those in remote areas, to cast votes securely. 5. Scalability: Can be piloted in smaller elections (student councils, union parishads, or municipal polls) before nationwide implementation. Why This Project is Important for Bangladesh: It supports the Digital Bangladesh and Smart Bangladesh vision. Increases voter turnout by making the process more accessible and efficient. Reduces electoral expenses by minimizing reliance on paper ballots and manual counting. Enhances public trust by ensuring transparency and reducing opportunities for manipulation.
